We are committed to respecting the privacy of all site visitors. The statement below sets out how we will treat personal information collected via the site. ‘Personal information’ describes information about you (e.g. your name, address, phone number or email address) that is not otherwise publicly available.

This statement only applies to Story Worldwide and companies owned by Story Worldwide and to employees of the organisation. Please note it does not cover any sites that are linked through our directories.

When you register with us via the Server Management site or when you submit an inquiry via the Server Management site we collect and hold the personal information you provide. We may combine the information you provide with information we have obtained about you from our business partners or other companies.

If you register your company as a vendor on our site the information you supply may be made public as a listing in our directory pages, it may also be given to any users to which you respond after they’ve made an inquiry.

Any users who submit an inquiry to the site are required to supply personal information. This may then be passed on to selected vendors from the directory page relating to your inquiry. We also automatically record information from your browser including your IP address, Story Worldwide cookie information and the page you have requested.

Be assured we will not rent, sell or exchange any of the personal information we hold about you with any other people or non-affiliated companies except when we have your permission to do so or if the following criteria apply:

• Trusted partners, who are bound by confidentiality agreements, may use your personal information to help us communicate offers from Story Worldwide and our marketing partners to you. However they do not have any independent right to share this information.
• In response to legal requests, e.g. court orders, or to establish or exercise our legal rights in defence of legal claims.
• When it is lawfully requested for purposes of investigation such as suspected fraud or where the physical safety of an individual is at risk, or in the event that Story Worldwide’s terms of use have been violated.
• In the event that Story Worldwide is acquired by or merged with another company. However, you will be notified before any information about you is transferred and is subject to a different privacy statement.
